Lakes by Boat

Lake Buchanan This is my favorite lake in central Texas for big fish.

Lake Travis This is my favorite lake in central Texas for everyone to catch fish.

Lake Austin This is a great lake for a chance at a giant bass.

Inks Lake This is a good lake for quality bass and guadalupe bass.

Lake LBJ Very good lake for numbers and sometimes quality.

Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir This is one of the best lakes for numbers of quality bass.

Fayette County Reservoir This is the best power plant lake near Austin.

Lake Bastrop Good lake for quantity but not neccesarily for quality.

Lake Marble Falls Can be a very fun lake with some quality bass.

Canyon Lake Great lake for a variety of species.

Decker Lake Great quality lake when you can launch a bass boat. Closed for bass boats.

Bests Places to Fish From Shore

Muir Lake - This Lake is located in Cedar Park, inside of Lakeline Park. There has been some nice bass caught from this small lake.

Lake Pfluegerville - There has been some absoloute tanks caught in this lake. It is rather low right now.

Mueler Lake - Nice place to fish and relax

Southwest Greenway - This is a nice pond with a good chance at a nice bass.

Southeast Greenway - This is also a decent pond with some nice catches.
